Blanco Court Beef Noodles – Its Origins & Founders
Established in 1979, Blanco Court Beef Noodles saw its humble beginnings as a pushcart stall on the busy lanes of Hainan Street during the early days of Singapore. Today, it has grown into a reputable hawker brand that is well-loved by locals, across generations.
Under the stewardship of Chopsticks and Bibs, an F&B group helmed by Mike Loh, the third-generation successor of Blanco Court Beef Noodles, and entrepreneur Dion Lim, the brand has modernised, refined its signature dishes and introduced new offerings, while continuing to use only premium ingredients and time-honoured secret recipes passed down from generations to preserve the culinary traditions of Blanco Court Beef Noodles.
Their accomplishment is not without a ‘key ingredient’ of success – the mentorship and guidance of Max Loh, Mike’s father and the second-generation owner of Blanco Court Beef Noodles. Playing an advisory role in the culinary department, Max ensures that the brand continues to maintain the highest standard and stays true to its legacy.
Blanco Court Beef Noodles – Mains, Side Dishes & Desserts
The all-new restaurant features original classic favourites as well as new side dishes and desserts that will excite all food lovers. Its signature dish, the Superior Beef Noodles (S$10.90 S / S$16.90 L), is a hit amongst the ultimate beef lovers! Expect to be treated to a symphony of senses as each bowl is filled with a generous serving of premium-cut beef shank, beef tripe, slice beef, beef balls and beef tendon that is topped with a rich flavourful gravy, or served in a robust herbal broth that is brewed over 24 hours using 15 different types of herbs and spices.
Other popular menu choices also include the classic Sliced Beef Noodles (S$7.90 S / S$10.90 L) and Beef Ball Noodles (S$7.90 S / S$10.90 L). All beef noodles are made à la minute from the soup to the meat and noodles, so every order is a fresh, piping hot bowl of goodness.
Non-beef eaters can also enjoy other delectable dishes such the Signature Fried Chicken Wing (S$4.00, 2 pcs / S$11,00, 6 pcs) that is marinated in a secret blend and fried to ‘oh-so-crispy-and-succulent’ perfection.
Other appetising dishes also include fragrant and tender Mushroom Chicken Rice (S$6.90) and the crispy, delightful Fried Yong Tau Fu Platter (S$6.50 S / S$12 L).
Spanning across 1,029 square feet, the restaurant’s contemporary interior is decked with natural wood elements and black marble accents.
