Guests will immerse themselves in diverse cultural activities from Capella’s destinations, including Peranakan Tile Painting from Capella Singapore, Traditional Balinese Mask Making from Capella Ubud, Lanna Umbrella Painting from Capella Bangkok, and Vietnamese Fan Art from Capella Hanoi. For those passionate about beverages, “Steeped in Tradition” will explore the distinct coffee and tea cultures of Southeast Asia, Australia, and China, featuring experts from Capella’s properties in Hanoi, Sydney, Ubud, and Shanghai.

Celia Lam, founder of From Root to Sky Inc., will host “Food Remedy,” a workshop on crafting herbal remedies using locally-sourced ingredients to boost immunity. On 19 October, Executive Chef Ramses of Capella Shanghai’s Michelin-starred Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire and Chef Tran Quang Binh of Michelin-listed Backstage in Hanoi will present “Vietnamese-French Four Hands,” blending modern Vietnamese flavours with classic French techniques. Meanwhile, “The Grand Kitauchi Showcase” will feature Head Chef Yamaguchi Hiroshi of Hibana by Koki, who will perform a masterful teppanyaki display using premium Kitauchi beef flown in from Okinawa’s Ishigaki Island.
The culinary celebration continues with “Capella Culinary Stars,” an exclusive event where master chefs from across Capella’s properties—including Bangkok, Hanoi, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, and Ubud—collaborate to reinvent authentic flavours in a setting that highlights each chef’s unique talents. The event will culminate in a lavish “Capella Mega Brunch” on 20 October, featuring multi-award-winning chefs Nicola Russo, Niro Richards, Yamaguchi Hiroshi, and Ramses, who will create a sensational spread to conclude the festivities.
