As Singapore’s first Halal-certified buffet restaurant in a luxury hotel on Orchard Road, StraitsKitchen presents Lunar New Year lunch and dinner buffets that welcome you with an authentic taste of the city-state’s multicultural heritage. Under the expert guidance of Chef de Cuisine Nelson Wong, who brings over 25 years of culinary expertise, each dish is meticulously prepared to honour the rich flavours of local culture, prepared using locally sourced ingredients and seasoned culinary techniques.
You can savour a variety of festive highlights, woven into StraitsKitchen’s signature repertoire of Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Nonya cuisine. From hearty classics like Mini Buddha Jumps Over the Wall to fragrant Hyderabadi Jinga Biryani, Tandoori Lamb Chop, and Sustainable Scallop with XO Sauce, each dish resonates with the spirit of abundance celebrated during the Lunar New Year.
To mark the start of new beginnings, the festive menu commences with a complimentary Double Happiness and Good Luck Sustainable Yu Sheng with smoked Atlantic salmon, welcoming prosperity with a joyful, convivial ritual for you and your loved ones. Beyond the three special buffet dates, you can also purchase the à la carte Double Happiness and Good Luck Sustainable Yu Sheng between 20 January and 12 February 2025 (excluding 28 to 30 January 2025). Starting at SGD 58 for medium-sized and SGD 78 for large-sized à la carte yu sheng, StraitsKitchen’s yu sheng is the perfect centrepiece to ensure a sumptuous start to the year’s festivities.
