Halloween Horror Nights 2 @ Universal Studios Singapore

The richter scale for fear & horror will go off the charts this October, as Universal Studios Singapore once again morphs into a harrowing land of horror with the region’s largest and most elaborate scare-fest– Halloween Horror Nights 2.

Riding on the immense success of its debut last year, Halloween Horror Nights returns this year as a bolder and bigger incarnation. Universal Studios Singapore is upping the scare ante by doubling the number of scareactors and building three elaborate haunted-houses amongst a frightful maze of five highly immersive scare zones.

Ms Andrea Teo, Vice President of Entertainment, Resorts World Sentosa promised that “Those who found last year’s event thrilling should brace themselves for even more scares this year”

Let’s have a quick look at what you will be in for, shall we? Wahahaha

Haunted Attractions

1. House of Dolls (Walk Through)

This year, guests will be transported into a terrifying nightmare, which will begin in the underbelly of the Puppet Master’s production line. His imaginary friends are more than what they seem, be prepared to discover the morbid truth about visitors to his puppet workshop that mysteriously went missing.

2. Dungeon of Damnation (Haunted House)

Evil resides in the Dungeon of Damnation, lair of The Undertaker who reaps each tortured soul that passes through his cunning hands, all for his own cruel pleasures. Tread carefully in his putrid pit of eternal suffering – even the living are not spared.

3. Total Lock Down (Walk Through)

A helicopter has lost control and crashed onto the streets of New York, spilling a mysterious radioactive substance all over the city. In its wake, the streets moan in excruciating pain from the radiation poisoning. Be careful who you meet here, you wouldn’t want to be infected….

4. Death Alley (Haunted House)

Power hungry triad members once roamed this area extorting protection money from hawkers. The victims stage a revolt which quickly turned into a bloody massacre. Beware of their tormented souls that now haunt the grounds.

5. Bizarre Bazaar (Walk Through)

The High Priest bids you welcome to this odd market. Here, death is celebrated as life and nothing is too strange or unreal. Freaks and monsters thrive on human sacrifice, make sure you are not next on their table…

6. The Insanitarium (Haunted House)

Home to the criminally insane. The Insanitariam is headed by Doctor Dementia, notorious for her unorthodox practices, ruthless experiments and shocking therapies. Do not be fooled by her steely exterior that masks the screaming madness going on behind the hospital walls.

Besides these haunted attractions, all visitors can also enjoy nine of the park’s favourite theme park attractions naming TRANSFORMERS The Ride, Battlestar Galactica Cylon + Human, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4D, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Canopy Flyer, Enchanted Airways and Accelerator.

Photo Opportunity

Camwhores would be dying to meet The Puppet Master for photos to brag about their encounters. But here’s the catch: The Puppet Master traps humans like prey and turns them into ‘living dolls’. You can have your photos but just be careful not to end up as part of his collection.
