The Christmas Lighting Ceremony of Harbour City was held on 4 Nov 2015 and was officiated by the renowned artist Ms. Michelle Reis and Disney friends. Besides, Harbour City cooperates with Google for the first time to share the happiness of the glittering Christmas lighting and celebrations from onsite to online as people can view the lighting ceremony live on YouTube of GOOGLEinHK and HKHarbourCity.

Celebrating Christmas, Harbour City has transformed Ocean Terminal Forecourt into “Happily Ever After” Christmas Avenue and “Christmas Magical Theatre” with lots of photo taking and selfie spots. Close to 40 Disney friends including Mickey Mouse , Minnie Mouse , Queen Elsa , Princess Anna , and many others share the festive happiness and celebrate a “Happily Ever After” Christmas with you!
1. Giant Golden Starry Tree and Christmas Gift Box
Begin your Happy Christmas journey at the entrance of the “Happily Ever After” Christmas Avenue where you can see a giant golden starry tree with a Mickey’s head-shaped ornament on the top. Shops on both sides of the avenue are decorated in a Christmas theme and some of them are wrapped by red-colored ribbons with billboards covered in light bulbs.
2. Disney Holiday Windows
The “Happily Ever After” Christmas Avenue takes on three different Disney themes in the form of Holiday Window displays, providing visitors with delightful designs in Harbour City. No Christmas is complete without Queen Elsa and her snowy magic. “A Frozen Christmas” gathers Queen Elsa , Princess Anna and Olaf to celebrate Christmas with all of you! The brand new theatrical extravaganza “Mickey and the Wondrous Book” and the most exciting scene featuring Mickey and Goofy would be presented. The renowned TSUM TSUM would also present “The Biggest Holiday Gift” to welcome you all.
3. Happy Photo-Hunt for Disney Friends and Hidden Mickey
Visitors can find the silhouettes of various Disney friends along “Happily Ever After” Christmas Avenue. Let’s enjoy a romantic moment with Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear from “Inside Out”, Snow White the Seven Dwarfs from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, Belle and the Beast from “Beauty and the Beast”, Cinderella and Prince Charming from “Cinderella”, Alice and Cheshire Cat from “Alice in Wonderland”, Genie from “Aladdin”, Rapunzel from “Tangled” and more through special lighting effects inside various shops.
