With a new year, comes a new month and this January Janice Wong presents her latest high tea series, Geisha. Drawing inspiration from a Geisha, meaning “a woman of the arts”, Janice invites you to experience a taste of Japan every weekend as she brings part of the Japanese culture to Singapore at 2am:dessertbar from 9 January 2021.
The new menu features a range of Japanese-inspired items such as the Kakigori Kinkan Vanilla Cream, Chocolate Soba Cha Monaka, Grilled Dango glazed with passionfruit white miso and the Temari Sushi in assorted flavours of Tuna, Salmon and Scallop, that will take you right back to Japan. The journey continues with the Kyoto Matcha, Katsu Sando, Ichigo Dafuku, Wagashi, Coffee dorayaki and the Raindrop cake. You are invited to grill your own dango in a setup perfectly sized for your table.
Beautifully hand-crafted by Chef and Artist Janice Wong, she said, “Staying on theme with travel, I wanted to bring a little magic from Japan to Singapore and curate a special experience for guest to enjoy my favourite parts of this special country, which is one I hold dear to my heart.”
The Geisha High Tea starts on 9 January and runs every weekend until 31 March at 2am:dessertbar, with limited sets available each day.
