Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant pays ode to the time-honoured tradition of the Dragon Boat Festival with a decadent selection of six exquisitely handcrafted rice dumpling creations available for dine-in and takeaway from 15 May to 3 June 2022.
Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant introduces four new creations this year. The Kurobuta Black Truffle Rice Dumpling ($38 small, $56 large) is an aromatic bundle generously filled with marinated pork belly, black truffle, Chinese mushroom, lotus seed, and chestnut. The Wagyu and Matsutake Mushroom Rice Dumpling ($78) is a toothsome parcel packed with tender Australian wagyu, Matsutake mushroom, Chinese mushroom, king oyster mushroom, dried shrimp, salted egg, and chestnut.
An elevated treat for the refined palates is the premium Buddha Jumps over the Wall Rice Dumpling ($98). A nutritious delicacy, its generous filling comprises abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, sea whelk, chicken, Chinese yam, Chinese mushroom, chestnut, salted egg, and goji berry. Those seeking a healthier option would delight in the OmniMeat Multigrain Rice Dumpling ($32 small) – a wholesome bundle packed with plant-based meat, meat-free nugget, Chinese mushroom, quinoa, multigrain rice, lotus seed, and chestnut.
For the traditionalists, Li Bai offers its signature Traditional Rice Dumpling ($56) which is filled with customary ingredients such as pork belly, roast duck, Chinese mushroom, chestnut, salted egg, conpoy and dried shrimp. The well-loved Abalone and Pumpkin Rice Dumpling ($56) is another premium classic which consists of whole abalone, pumpkin, Chinese mushroom, pork, salted egg, chestnut, conpoy and mung bean.
