Pokémon Go is inviting everyone to join them in the celebration of #PokemonDay on 27 February 2017! #PokemonDay commemorates the launch of the very first Pokémon games in Japan since 1996. To celebrate this special day, Niantic has planned several events and promotions including a special Party Hat Pikachu which is only available during the period of celebration. Limited Edition Party Hat Pikachu
Pikachu is ready to lead the Pokémon Day celebration in Pokémon GO. From 5am, 27 February to 5am, 7 March 2017 (Singapore Time), any Pikachu you encounter in the wild will be wearing a festive party hat!
Just like the previous Christmas Hat Pikachu, the Pikachu you catch during this celebration period will keep its party hat forever, so be sure to look for this special Pikachu during its short time in the wild.
It’s Not Just About Pikachu
