Look for a red door located off Ann Siang Road on 16 June (Friday) and you may chanced upon Chopsuey Cafe’s pop-up bar concept – POPSUEY, a unique space in the heart of Singapore’s heritage district with striking views of Singapore’s city skyline.

Once you enter through the doors, wander pass a tucked away attic space

before stepping into the heart of the cosy pop-up bar.

Taking place on 16 June (Friday), POPSUEY will see a collision of East meets West, where Asian-inspired tipples, small plates and Dim Sum take centre stage.

A carefully curated drinks menu promises Fine Wines and Creative Cocktails served on the rocks with spirit of choice such as the Energy with espresso, coconut sugar, cacao and cayenne pepper or the Detox with beetroot, apple, celery stalk and parsley leaves.

We were particularly amused by the Elixirs and their promises.

You and your company get to sample an array of appetising small plates such as the Chargrilled Octopus with a vibrant chilli and lime dip, Suckling Pig Sliders with crisped mantou buns

and a selection of steamed and fried Dim Sum will deliver bold flavours in a unique setting with a gorgeous city skyline view.

The night will be backed by a soulful house soundtrack helmed by DJ Sivanesh, best known for his residency at CÉ LA VI Singapore.

POPSUEY happens at 45 Ann Siang Road, #02-02, on 16 June from 6pm till late.
