Ditto, which has the ability to take on the form and abilities of the other Pokémon it’s facing in battle is now available for players to catch. However, catching it would take more than skills and Pokemon Radar Apps. You will soon realise that you don’t hate Rattatas and Pidgeys that much anymore. What can Ditto do after you caught it? Read on to have all your questions answer!
How To Catch A Ditto?
Now for the important question. How do you catch this elusive new Pokemon? If you have been following the Pokemon cartoons closely, you should know that he’s not just going to just show up on your map as a giant pink blob. The cunning folks at Niantic had Ditto inserted into Pokémon GO disguised as other Pokémon. So you won’t know if you’ve caught it until it reveals itself after you capture whatever he’s transformed itself into!
If you have a habit of putting your phone down after the Pokeball clicks for a capture, you might not have even realised you caught Ditto, as this is a totally new mechanic. Make sure you stick around this time because there is a short cutscene where you will see Ditto reveal himself. What a way to make sure you start paying special attention to every catch you make. Can I Catch Multiple Dittos?
Yes, you can catch multiple Dittos! The statistics are still pretty luck based now. Ditto shows up not just in the wild but if you use lures or incense as well. Start burning those incenses now!
