Flavours of Singapore at The Line
The Line’s Chef de Cuisine Vincent Wong has enhanced the highlights for buffet dinner with local delights at The Line from 18 July to 14 August 2016. Travel back in time and revel in old-world charm as The Line transforms into a bustling food market reminiscent of traditional hawker streets from the 1960s.
Savour signature and new highlights such as Singapore Laksa; Oyster Omelette; Otak-otak; Satay; Nasi Lemak and Kuih, alongside creatively-reinterpreted delights including Chicken Rice Maki Roll; Chilli Crab Brioche and Chendol Bubbles. These Singapore-themed highlights will be complemented by a wide range of international delights from the buffet.
To add to the conviviality, The Line will enhance the hawker fare with an al fresco pop-up fruit stall for guests to savour specially-imported durians from Malaysia such as D24 Durian and Mao Shan Wang, and tropical fruits including mangosteen, rambutan, longan and jackfruit. A durian master will also be on site to acquaint guests with the tropical fruits.
Celebrate the kampong spirit and have a memorable time bonding over childhood games such as Snake and Ladder, Kuti Kuti and Chapteh.
The Line’s dinner buffet is priced at S$79++ per adult every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday, and at S$92++ every Friday and Saturday. Prices include coffee and tea. Every Tuesday and Thursday, the buffet is priced at S$98++ per adult and S$108 respectively, and includes an enhanced seafood selection, house-pour sparkling, red and white wines, draft beer, soft drinks and chilled juices.
National Day Afternoon Tea Celebration at Lobby Court
From 1 to 31 August 2016, indulge in our three-tiered National Day Afternoon Tea and delight in familiar local favourites with a modern twist such as Chilli Crab in Tomato Bun; Beef Rendang Herb Bun, Mini Croissant with Otak Otak and Pineapple Slaw and Chicken Curry Bruschetta.
Savour creative pastries and desserts such as Pandan Scones; Kuih Lapis; Onde Onde; Orchid Macaron; Durian Cheese Cake; Ang Ku Kuih; Coconut Brown Sugar Éclair and Rainbow Cake.
The afternoon tea set is priced at S$42++ per person, inclusive of unlimited pours of one type of tea or coffee and S$51++ per person, inclusive of a glass of Singapore Sling or Tiger Beer. An additional glass of Singapore Sling or Tiger Beer is available at $5.10++. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and 7% GST.

Durian Extravaganza at The Line Shop
Durian aficionados now have a reason to rejoice. From now until 31 August 2016, The Line Shop will be launching an exquisite selection of pastries incorporating Singapore’s well-loved fruit – the durian – to celebrate National Day.
Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s diverse and harmonious melting pot of cultures, Area Executive Pastry Chef Hervé Potus and his team have added a local twist to traditional French and Asian pastries with premium-grade D24 durian.
Take a walk down memory lane with delectable creations such as Durian Coconut Charlotte; Durian and Pandan Roulade; Durian Choux; Durian Kueh Lapis; Durian Gula Melaka Tart and Durian Cheesecake.
New Durian Pastries
– Durian Coconut Charlotte: A classic French cake dessert lined with biscuits and topped with generous layers of creamy durian mousse and coconut shavings
– Durian and Pandan Roulade: Freshly-baked pandan-infused cake layered with fresh durian mousse
– Durian Choux: Fresh durian mousse piped into light and fluffy pastry buns
– Durian Kueh Lapis: A fragrant Dutch-Indonesian layered cake made using durian, eggs and butter
– Durian Gula Melaka Tart: Coconut Palm Sugar, also known as Gula Melaka, is mixed with luscious durian mousse to create the filling of this buttery pastry
