As Singaporeans, we are all proud of our Little Red Dot in one-way or another. With the world getting more connected, most of us have friends and loved ones around the globe. When they come to visit, we will bring them around to places we enjoy the most to show them the side of Singapore we know and love! These shared experiences lend that extra touch of warmth to their time in Singapore as every memory created whilst here holds special meaning for both parties. With this in mind, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) just launched ‘Singapore Invites’!
‘Singapore Invites’ allows you to extend a big warm “Hello & Welcome” to the world! The campaign celebrates relationships and the reconnection with your friends and loved ones through travel and exploration of Singapore. This can take the form of visiting a favourite childhood haunt or place to eat at or even rediscovering hidden parts of Singapore together!
There is no better time to extend a personal invitation to someone you have in mind to come to Singapore! No matter where you’re from, you stand a chance to win a trip to experience Singapore with your overseas friends and loved ones.
How To Participate
1. Log on www.yoursingapore.com/singaporeinvites
2. Upload a photo that depicts your dream experience in Singapore.
3. Tell us who you wish to invite and why this dream experience is meaningful in reconnecting you and your overseas loved ones. Please keep your story within 150 words.
Alternatively, you can also post your photo and story on your own Instagram account, with hashtags #SingaporeInvites and your country of residence eg. #Singapore
Closing Date: 6 December 2015
How To Win
There will be 25 winning entries globally for the photo contest. Winners and their invited guests will receive free airfare (if the winners are non-Singapore residents), accommodation in Singapore and will have their ‘Dream Experience’ come true (as stated in their photo submission).
The winners’ experiences will be filmed as a finale video montage to be released at the end of the campaign! How exciting is that!
