Anyone who has organised 21st birthday parties will know that there is no such thing as a simple affair. Sweetest Moments first caught our attention at one of our close friend’s baby shower with their amazing pull-apart cupcakes. The ‘birthday cake’ was conveniently disassembled into cute, handy little cupcakes with no hassle (not to mention mess) and most importantly it tasted great! Wow, we thought that was really one of the most innovative cakes for kids party we have ever seen.
As we did more research on their website, we got to know that Sweetest Moments specialises in personalised wedding announcement (过大礼) packages and full month packages. For this party, we hope to get a cake which addresses the birthday boy – Wee Teck’s love for all things chocolate and at the same time super instagrammable for social media. A quick browse through their online selection, we realised that their standard designs may be a little too cute for a 21-year-old boy. However, the good news is that they are more than happy to provide customisation to suit our desires. Through email correspondences, they were patient and very attentive to details and offered great recommendations for the cake design. We were also glad that they have attained the requirements of being a Halal-certified patisserie. It makes them a great choice to cater for all guests.
On the special day, we were thrilled to see Wee Teck’s cake materialised according to what we have planned. Our customised 21st birthday cake was a dream come true for our dear chocolate lover! Drizzled with M&M, KitKat, drenched in yummilicious cream with chocolate drips from the top, our birthday boy almost could not bear to cut it.
It wasn’t tough slicing up the 10 inch Chocolate Drip Cake that serves between 16 to 30 pax. Our knife glided through Sweetest Moment’s delicious signature moist chocolate cake. The rich, intense chocolate flavour and smooth texture got all our guests raving. We recommend that you complement each bite with the accompanying cream. Heavenly.

We were glad we customised their standard party set to include their famous Ang Ku Kueh in the mix. The soft sticky glutinous rice flour skin with sweet filling in the centre was a hit with our older relatives.
Overall, we were really impressed with the cakes, pastries and most importantly service from Sweetest Moments. It is little wonder why they have won several Best Full Month Packages awards from renowned parenthood magazines such as Mother & Baby and Parents World – along with a Promising Brand award from the Singapore Prestige Brand Award.
