Providing you and your loved ones with a unique opportunity to celebrate the London social and holiday season, executive pastry chef Sarah Barber’s modern-day patisseries encompass classic nostalgic flavours with a refined sense of elegance channelled through a series of teas throughout the year.
The Dorchester Afternoon Tea – Cosmic Afternoon Tea (5 to 31 January 2019)
Inspired by the Asprey at The Dorchester luxury boutique pop-up (open until January 31, 2019), the hotel’s calendar of seasonal afternoon teas will commence with ‘Cosmic Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester. The celestial cakes and pastries will take influence from the constellation of jewels within Asprey’s ‘Cosmic’ collection, available within the pop-up overlooking The Promenade where the tea will be served.
Cosmic Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester is priced from £60 per adult and £35 per child.
The Dorchester Afternoon Tea – Sweet Love Afternoon Tea (14 – 17 February 2019)
The British love affair with ‘a cup of tea’ is enhanced through this unique afternoon tea in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Sweet Love Afternoon Tea includes a selection of Valentine’s Day inspired pastries such as Strawberry Milkshake Macaron, Jasmine Honey and Raspberry Rose Tart, accompanied by a glass of Laurent-Perrier Rosé.
Sweet Love Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester is priced from £85 per adult and £35 per child.
The Dorchester Afternoon Tea – Easter Afternoon Tea (19 to 22 April 2019)
Capitalising on its position as a longstanding British institution for afternoon tea, the Easter Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Promenade is perfect for folks who wish to celebrate Easter this year. The menu enjoys classic finger sandwiches, hot cross buns and Easter-themed pastries with a celebratory glass of champagne.
Easter Afternoon Tea is priced at £85 per person with a glass of Champagne and £35 for children.
The Dorchester Afternoon Tea – Chelsea Flower Show Champagne Afternoon Tea (20 to 26 May 2019)
Indulge in an RHS Chelsea Flower Show inspired afternoon tea, inclusive of a glass of Brut Champagne. The tea is served in The Promenade surrounded by floral decorations designed by The Dorchester’s talented designer florist, Philip Hammond, and includes a selection of flower show themed French pastries.
Chelsea Flower Show Champagne Afternoon Tea is priced from £70 per adult and £45 per child.
The Dorchester Afternoon Tea – Wimbledon Afternoon Tea (1 to 14 July 2019)
The Wimbledon Championships is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world, and much like afternoon tea at The Dorchester, it’s become a treasured British tradition. Honouring one of the UK’s most celebrated sporting events, a special afternoon tea menu featuring fruity Pimms cocktails, finger sandwiches and delicious tennis-inspired pastries, will be served alongside a selection of fine teas.
