UK’s Best Chef 2012, Chef Alyn Williams Visits The Cliff Sentosa

The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa will welcome the final guest chef of the year, Chef Alyn Williams from 13 – 17 August 2014 to award-winning restaurant, The Cliff. After playing host to an array of star-studded guests including Chef Pascal Aussignac of Club Gascon, London, Chef Jarad Gallagher of Chez TJ, California and most recently, Chef Saul Bolton of Saul, New York City, The Cliff concludes the mammoth series of guest chefs with fourth and final Michelin-starred Chef Alyn Williams to wow food critics with his signature cuisine.

A born and bred Londoner, Chef Williams opened his eponymous restaurant Alyn Williams at The Westbury in 2011 after years of training under big name chefs Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing. Since then, his restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star, three AA rosettes, and has been voted 15th in UK’s National Restaurant Awards 2012. Chef Williams also bagged the title of UK’s Best Chef of the Year in 2012.

Chef Williams will be showcasing his style of straightforward cuisine with contemporary touches, featuring only the best of seasonal ingredients. Seafood aficionados can look forward to the Scottish Langoustine and Scallop with Grilled Watermelon, Spiced Almonds and Caviar Dressing, while meat lovers can delight in the Barbecued Welsh Lamb Shoulder with Dukka, Smoked Aubergine and Tzatziki, boasting middle-eastern influences.
