How Can You Get A Visa to Vietnam?
There are two ways of getting your Vietnam visa prior to your trip to Vietnam. You can apply for a visa at the nearest Vietnam embassy and have your visa mailed to you before you leave for your trip. You can also submit an online application at Travel Visa Pro website, pay the application fee online and receive an approval letter. You will then have to show your approval letter once you land in Vietnam and your visa will be issued at the airport. This is a faster process since you only need two days to get your approval letter, but keep in mind that you can only use this method if you will be arriving at the Hanoi airport, Ho Chi Minh City airport or at the Nha Trang City airport. 
Which Documents Do You Need To Submit Your Application?
All you have to do is fill out the application form and attach a passport size photo. You will also need to submit a self-addressed return envelope with postage if you want your visa to be mailed to you. The application form is very easy to fill out and you will have to share your personal information as well as explain the reason for your trip.
How Can You Pay The Processing Fee?
The fee you will have to pay for your visa depends on the duration of your trip and on whether you need a single entry or a multiple entry visa. A single entry visa will cost you $20 for a month and $30 for three months. You will have to pay a stamping fee of $25 at the airport. If you need a multiple entry visa, you will need to pay $23 when applying and a stamping fee of $50 at the airport. You will need to pay $45 for a multiple entry visa valid for three months as well as $50 for the stamping fee at the airport. You can pay the original application fee with a money order or a cashier’s check at the embassy and will have to pay for the stamping fee with cash. You can get lower fees if you apply for several visas at once and will have to pay an additional fee if you want next day or same day processing.
Applying for a visa before your trip to Vietnam is not difficult. You will need between three and five days to obtain your letter of approval of your visa but it is best to apply in advance. Don’t forget to check the expiration date of your passport to make sure it won’t expire during your trip!
