Taiwanese pop singer Zhao Chuan, better known as “Chief Chao”, will be coming back to Singapore for the first time since 2018 to perform live at Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands on 30 April as part of Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Live concert series. Zhao Chuan Singapore 2023 is set to be a major highlight for Zhao, who has established himself as a prominent star in the Asian music circuit with a music career spanning three decades.
The Mandopop singer first shot to fame with his hit single “I’m Ugly but Gentle” (我很醜,可是我很溫柔) in 1988. He went on to release a series of classic hits and was heralded as the Best Mandarin Male Singer at the 1991 Golden Melody Awards. Apart from his musical prowess, Zhao has also made appearances in a number of popular Chinese music reality shows.
Zhao’s exceptional vocal range and heartfelt delivery promise a sensational performance that will take fans on a trip down memory lane. Audiences can look forward to singing along to his nostalgic tracks, such as “I’m a Little Bird” (我是一只小小鸟) and “I’ve Finally Lost You” (我终于失去了你).
Tickets to Zhao Chuan’s concert will go on sale on 20 March via Marina Bay Sands’ webpage. Sands Rewards LifeStyle members will enjoy 10% off ticket prices. For more ticketing information, please refer to the table below.

More acts under the series will be announced soon, with more information to be released on the website.
